A family recipe for hospitality

Curry House Cuisine of India is a family-owned business in Lacey, Washington, founded by Ranbir Lidder and Paramjit Garcha — with their children Aman and Kamal — in 2012. We’re proud to serve some of the finest Indian cuisine in the South Sound.

CEO & Head Chef

Ranbir was born in Punjab, one of the most vibrant regions of India, and immigrated to the United States in the early ’90s. With more than 30 years in the culinary world, he began his career at an upscale Seattle restaurant as a busboy, rising to sous chef and then head chef.

In 1994 he moved to Thurston County to raise a family, and has been bringing Indian food to this community ever since. In 2011 he decided to open a family-owned restaurant — Curry House — alongside his wife Paramjit and their two children, Aman and Kamal.

Paramjit serves as Chief Operating Officer, overseeing daily operations and keeping the team aligned with the values that make Curry House what it is. With more than 20 years of experience in hospitality, she has been instrumental in the restaurant’s success and continues to inspire the staff she leads. Outside of work, she loves to travel and discover new cuisines.

President

Aman brings the business and financial backbone to Curry House. As President, he is responsible for the overall direction of the restaurant’s operations and services. With a Master of Accountancy from Saint Martin’s University and a background in public accounting, he oversees financial operations and growth strategy — keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes so the kitchen and front-of-house teams can focus on guests. Deeply rooted in the family’s Punjabi heritage, Aman is passionate about sharing that culture with the South Sound community.

Kamaldeep (Kamal) Lidder

Kamaldeep “Kamal” Lidder

Chief Marketing Officer

Kamal serves as Chief Marketing Officer, leading Curry House’s brand, marketing, and community presence. A registered nurse by profession, she brings that same spirit of care into how the restaurant connects with its guests — from social media and promotions to the warm, welcoming experience Curry House is known for. Her focus is on sharing the family’s story and bringing new guests through the door while keeping loyal regulars coming back. For Kamal, the restaurant is an extension of the hospitality that has always defined her family.
